Who we are
Pure Environs Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Our registered details are in the footer of every page, and our contact details are on the contact page.
- 02
What we collect, and when
We collect personal information in one place on this website: the property assessment form. Nothing is collected from you simply by reading a page.
When you complete that form we collect:
- Your name, email address and telephone number
- The postcode of the property the enquiry is about
- Whether you are enquiring as a homeowner, a landlord or a business
- Details about the property: its type, current heating, approximate electricity use, roof type, known shading, and whether there is an electric vehicle
- Which services you are interested in
- Any message you write, and any photographs or bills you choose to attach
- Your preferred way of being contacted
- 03
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use these details to respond to your enquiry, to arrange a survey and to prepare a quotation. That is the only purpose.
Our lawful basis is the steps you have asked us to take before entering into a contract, together with our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. You give your consent to be contacted when you submit the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you have separately asked us to. We do not sell or share enquiry data with third parties for their own purposes.
- 04
How your enquiry reaches us
The form is submitted to our own server, which validates it and sends it to us by email using Resend, an email delivery service acting as our processor. A copy is sent to you at the same time.
This website does not store enquiries in a database. Your details exist in our email system and in Resend's sending logs, and nowhere else on this site.
Your IP address is used briefly to limit how many submissions can be made in a short period, which stops the form being abused. It is held in memory only and is not stored.
- 05
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for six years from the date of your enquiry, then delete them. That period covers the time in which a claim relating to work could ordinarily be brought, and our obligations under the certification schemes we work under and for tax purposes.
If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep them for one of the reasons above. Ask us and we will tell you which applies.
- 06
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, or ask us to restrict our use of it.
To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
